Marcie Dodd, Wicked's High Belting Elphaba, will replace Eden Espinosa as Elphaba in the San Francisco Production of Wicked on June 29th, 2010. Marcie most recently played the role of Elphaba on the 2nd National Touring Company of WICKED, and played Elphaba for a 3 month stint on Broadway. She was the Standby for Elphaba in the Los Angeles company of Wicked, and Played Nessarose for 6 months there as well. Marcie began her Wicked Journey in December 2006, when she joined the 1st National Tour as an Understudy for both Elphaba and Nessarose. Marcie will star with Former Broadway Co-Star Alli Mauzey through the End of WICKED's run at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco.
