Spring into Spring with this eye tutorial inspired by Hydrangeas.

First, I primed my entire eye area with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion.  Then, I put Urban Decay's 24/7 eye pencil, Yeyo, in my inner eye corners.

I used a light blue eyeshadow from the Coastal Scents 88 Color Eye Shadow Palette on my eye lid.  (5th row from the right-3rd up from the bottom).
Then, I applied MAC's Violet Eyeshadow Pigment to my crease, with a Sigma F25. With a MAC 266br, I also put Violet on my top & bottom lash line.

With a Smashbox #3br, I highlighted under my brows with MAC's Digit eyeshadow.
I applied MAC's Tealo Powerpoint eye pencil to my waterline.  To represent the Hydrangea's green stem.
Lastly, I put Diorshow Blackout Mascara onto my lashes.

Laura Woyasz temporarily replaces Katie Rose Clarke, Katie to Return in April

Laura Woyasz, current standby for Glinda on Broadway, will be playing the role of Glinda from Now, until Mid-to-late April, while Katie Rose Clarke recovers from illness. I do not know exactly what Katie has, but I hope she feels better soon. Replacing Laura will be Lindsay K. Northen current u/s.

Laura Woyasz began her time in Wicked in 2006, when she was the Understudy for Glinda on the 1st National Tour. She moved to standby in 2008, in Los Angeles, and Shortly after the LA company closed, she moved to the Broadway Company replacing Katie Adams.

Libby Servais to Join Broadway Company of Wicked

Libby Servais, who most recently served as the standby for Glinda in San Francisco, will return to the show, but this time on Broadway. A (very very talented) friend of mine who is very good friends with her informed me of this, and says she will be in the ensemble understudying Glinda instead of being the Standby again. Interesting! But Congrats to the super talented Libby!! :)

Fun St. Patrick's Day Eye Tutorial

This is a fun, flirty St. Patrick's Day eye tutorial.

So if you are interested in how to achieve this look keep reading. Fake eyelashes are optional!!

First, I primed my entire eye area with Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion

Then, with a Smashbox eyeshadow brush I applied a matte white eyeshadow to my brow bone and my inner eye area.

With a MAC 239 I packed Urban Decay's Flipside eyeshadow to my entire eyelid.  Blending up in to crease.

Then, with a SS219 brush I applied Urban Decay's Oil Slick to my outer corner and feathering it out into my crease.  I blended any harsh lines out with my Sigma E25 brush.

Lastly, I put MAC's Zoomlash on my eyelashes.

*Fake eyelashes optional!! I used Makeup For Ever's false lashes #152.

new New NEW!

Hello lovelies!

I have forgotten ALLLL about this blog of mine but now that I have a website, a freelance career and an amazing hubby who supports me 100% I'm going to start bringing you all things makeup :)

Check out my new site: www.darlingmakeup.com :)

My first post now that I'm back is about my new project that I'm SO excited to start! Before and After series... oh it's been done many times... but not by me, at least not in this grand of a scale :) I, so far, have 15 models and once I know when I'm going to be doing this series, I'm going to order these, well... one of them at least for now... and the other two when I can afford to!

SO that's it for now... I'm also starting to work on face charts so that I can have a book of looks that I can/have/will do along with everything used so that if a client is unsure of what they want, they have a book to look through :)

Talk soon!
